William Blake

I think William Blake is by far the world's best English poet and painter, probably the the best poet or painter the world has ever known. It feels that you do not look at his art, but read it as you would one of his written works. Some of his work is down right scary like this one literally, taken from Revelations 13 : 1

Blake said he saw and spoke with angels and also the the Virgin Mary.
